Mentoring Grant Programme Continues for Turkish Female Entrepreneurs

The “Life is Easy in Digital” project, carried out in partnership with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), United Nations Development Program (UNDP), Habitat Association and Türk Telekom, aims to increase women’s knowledge and production skills on subjects such as information and communication technologies, e-services and e-commerce. The programme primarily aims to encourage the women’s active participation in the economy in Turkey. The project aims to reach 10,000 women in 81 provinces of Turkey by the end of 2022.

Women participating in the Digital Marketing Training and Design Thinking Workshop held within the scope of the project will be able to apply for mentorship and grant support. Entrepreneurial women, who passed the technical screening after the application, will be included in the mentoring program, which is planned to last approximately 2 weeks. Grant support will be provided to 10 women who have successfully completed the final evaluation among women who received mentoring support so that they can develop their business.

The Main Aim of the Grant Programme

Within the scope of the “Life is Easy in Digital” project, it is aimed to support the businesses and brands of 10 entrepreneur women who sell through digital channels, to contribute to the more active participation of women in economic life and to strengthen the social role of women.

Program Phases

Phase 1: Mentoring
Entrepreneur women will be included in the mentoring program of 20 women who passed the technical qualification after completing their online application to the “Life is Easy in Digital” project mentoring and grant support program, and will receive training that will contribute to the development of their business and brand in the program, which is planned to last approximately 2 weeks.

Phase 2: Final Evaluations
After the mentoring program, the final interview will be held. In the final, the 10 women who get the highest score in the jury evaluation according to the grant receiving criteria will be entitled to receive a business development grant. Initiatives that are entitled to receive grant support will be announced with an award ceremony.

Who Can Apply?
– Participating in the Digital Marketing Training and Design Thinking Workshop held within the scope of the project,
– Having a tradesman or tradesman exemption,
– Those who want to grow their business, have this motivation and are open to learning
– Entrepreneurial women over the age of 18.

**The prerequisite for participation is that the business belongs to an entrepreneur woman or that the signature authority belongs to a woman.

Who Cannot Apply?
– The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) members and employees,
– United Nations Development Program (UNDP) employees,
– Habitat Association employees,
– Turk Telekom employees,
– Beneficiaries who are entitled to a grant by the Habitat Association and have not exceeded 2 years
