The institution said that the President will announce the project in August.

The Project will be Implemented in all 81 Provinces
Announcing that they will carry out these projects in 81 provinces, the officials said, “It will be a project where our citizens will own a house as if they were paying rent. Hopefully, in August, we will share the biggest social housing project in the history of the Republic with the great good news of our President. Thus, the low-income group, our youth, retirees, families of martyrs and veterans will be able to benefit from this with the allocated quota. In this sense, we will have started a big project in Bursa. It will be a part of this project in Bursa with both urban transformation and social housing. Our citizens will be able to benefit from this with payment periods of up to 20 years.” gave the information.
Within the scope of the project, a total of 150 thousand houses are planned to be built by the Housing Development Administration (TOKİ) through public financing.

Project is to be completed in 3 years
In addition, the officials explain that they will include the infrastructure lands in the process, and they note that the state will undertake the construction costs. It is planned that the project, in which the lottery system will be implemented, will be completed in 3 years and all keys will be given in 2025. The projects are expected to support employment by adding mobility to the Turkish construction sector.
Murat Kurum, Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, also touched upon the housing purchase of foreigners, “There is no need to set a limit on this issue. They have a share of 3 to 4 percent in general. It is said that only in some provinces it has increased a lot due to the Russia-Ukraine war. We will also present the supply that will balance it to the market.” made a statement.
